Got a Job!
Graduating after June, the best time of the year here in a small town east of Canada, after 4 years of ups and downs, mostly caused by the shortage of cash.
I am the lucky ones who really found a job before graduation. Those elites in my SIF class are still looking and I am already settled. The Personal Financial Services postion is always what I wanted, which will lead me to be a financial planner eventually. And RBC seems to be very employee friendly, as what I heard from Jeanne, my colleague in H&R Block who worked for RBC for 25 years. But I am not a people person. Friends do not come easy for me, and I always regret what I said or did a minuite after the damage was done.
Ning is worried about her medical exam result. She has to pass it to be employed by McCain. Don't know why are they so fussy about this. She will be working for the accounting department and may never get a chance to touch those food.
Speaking of McCain, it wants to open the Chinese market, starting by selling fries. Not very optimistic about this idea. And frozen vegitables are far from Chinese likings. Who would
buy stale frozen vegitables when he/she can get fresh ones everyday in the markets? And Ning was told she would get paid 3000 yuan if she works in the factory in Harbin in the north. I'd rather work in the Chinese restaurant in the states undertable, making USD2000(start). Cost more than CAD10000 a year to study here. Hello, not worth it.
Can't wait to start working in the bank. Wish Alex could get a job too. Or wish he would get sick of me one day and give me a divorce.
